Gauss guns, aka coilguns, are a projectile based weapon most commonly found in science-fiction but which can be built with today’s technology. They work by using electromagnets to propel solid slugs at a high velocity.
This gauss gun, with a full auto feature, was developed by Delta V Engineering. Delta V is about making sci-fi concepts a reality and clearly have a real and functional weapon here.
As the Dell laptop test shows this gauss gun doesn’t have the power of modern weapons however it could be used in situations where a gunpowder/chemical reaction wouldn’t be possible.
